Control future analytics reports and ask about information associated with you.
Stop usage reports
In the app, open Settings → Privacy and turn on “Opt out of usage analytics.” Reading, topic filtering, and local opened history continue to work.
Clear local information
Your topic choices, reading history, and other settings are stored on your device. Android’s app-storage controls can clear them and reset setup. Platform backup behavior can affect whether settings are restored.
Request help or deletion
Email support@thegladreader.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Describe the information involved, such as a support email or an older test record. Send only what is necessary. There are no reader accounts to delete in the current app.
What cannot be linked back
The current usage counters contain monthly totals rather than individual events or a persistent device identifier. We cannot identify which count belongs to you or remove an individual contribution from those totals.
